Our mission

WeNspire Association is organized to educate, inspire and unite the entertainment industry. Based in Memphis, Tennessee, we serve the charitable, religious, educational, health, clothing and housing needs of our community in ways that align with that mission.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, WeNspire Entertainment Association represents and advocates for entertainers and artists across the Memphis and Mid-South market. Our purpose is to bring the local and regional entertainment industry together to inspire, inform, educate and empower them with the knowledge and skills needed for success.

Our leadership team brings together more than 200 years of combined entertainment industry experience — musicians, producers, radio personalities, DJs, models, designers, stylists and more — all committed to building a supportive community and sharing expertise with the next generation of talent.

At the heart of it is our 6-month Entertainment/Artist Development Program, built to save our children by teaching the business behind the art — a grant-funded vision for a stronger entertainment community across Shelby County and Memphis.

Why it matters

Talent is everywhere in Memphis. Opportunity is not.

Too many at-risk young people in Shelby County are never taught the business side of entertainment — the contracts, the marketing, the discipline that turn raw talent into a livelihood. Our grant-funded vision is to change that, starting in Memphis and District 9.

This work is not new to us. Our community has trained more than a thousand models and performers through Work of Art Models since 1995, produced the N'Style Fashion & Entertainment and City Beats television shows, and shown up year after year with toy drives and events raising awareness of domestic violence and human trafficking.
